tattoo. several small crescents and stars over the body in a freckling of designs that makes her entire body a tapestry. down her forearms would be the phases of the moon with stars trailing over her arms. at her throat is a crescent with the northern star marked with stars that make a necklace as well. on her chest for the under boob is an entwining design of the moon with the moon phases as well, the different star designs making almost a chain that moves under her ribs and rests over her hips in the back. this particular tattoo is aether laced with her husband's aether. on her thighs she has the moons as well as stars that go down them, dotting her hip line and over her thighs. on her back would be a moon surrounded by rays, and planetary symbols that stretch down her spine. once a symbol given to her from her people but changed once it was completed.

childhood

Rhaya was born to Tova Moshantum, the Matron of the Wandering Children. However, her mate had died a few months before her birth making it difficult for her to care for the child, having the reminder of him there was difficult and so, she gave Rhaya to Zutoh, her sister, who would raise Rhaya as her own with her own daughters. Through her childhood, she knew no better and referred to Zutoh as mother. The Elder often took interest in her due to her showing signs of being a Dreamer, one who sees visions, early in her life.Being a Dreamer did cause issues in her early life which caused her to be the burden for her older siblings and cousins. She would find herself wandering off and not sure why, being distracted by several different things and disappearing when someone wasn't watching. This has led to near death instances and the constant barrage of being told she was nothing but a burden. Which only caused the girl to become more quiet and reserved over her younger years.

coming of age

When Rhaya turned sixteen cycles it was time for her to go through her Coming of Age Ceremony. Every child once they reached this age was to receive their mark of the Twelve and set forth in fulfilling the deeds that would cause it to go from faded to a brightened symbol. Thus, allowing for their return to the clan. Her mother, Zutoh, was not happy with the idea of her daughter wandering and she was often told she would not survive being on her own with how often she put herself in dangerous situations.On the day of the Ceremony she was told that her mark would be on her back and for several hours she sat under the excruciating pain as the needle was poked over her back. The mixture of aether making it more painful as she was marked with all Twelve and yet, she was never told she was. The next day, she was given her pack and was told to follow the will of Oschon and let her feet carry her where she needed to be and so she did.For two years she travelled on her own, living off of the land and taking care of herself on her own. Knowing full well that she could be on limited time. Knowing that during the full moon she had little control over her magic and if she would wake from her Dreams. It was finally when she reached Eorzea that her life would change forever.

current

After arriving in Eorzea, Rhaya found herself enamored with the people there. It all began when she met Cedric Silverstar and his kindness got her attention. He was her first friend coming to Eorzea. Over time she travelled the lands and got comfortable with the expansive continent. Eventually, she settled down with the Gilded Compass at the request of Cedric who would continue to watch over her. They did date for some time however, that was not meant to last.She grew her skills in the Gilded Compass as a healer and her work as a witch, which was something she had learned from the Elder. As she continued to work through the ranks and gain her own reputation for helping anyone in need she gained several close friends in the company and became a fairly protected member due to it.During her time at the Compass is when she also met her now husband, Togy Brandmakt. Once a patient who jokingly flirted with her and did not expect her to do so back, he convinced her to go on a date and they had been inseparable since.Her eldest sister along with a few of her aunts and cousins left the Wandering Children to settle in Eorzea, forming a small clan in which Rhaya would come to be the Matron of. While she was resistant at first she got more and more comfortable with the idea as she given smaller decisions to make.This would be the start of her journey into leadership. She would soon become the Head of Medical in the Gilded Compass during the End of Days, losing her friends during that time took a toll on her. Soon after she did not want to regret much and opened her flower shop, Moon Lily Flowers.After all was settled in the world, she would buy out what was left of the Gilded Compass as it would disband, creating the Garden of Shadows.
